Your first paragraph was exactly like how I am! Strangers in public restrooms (who sometimes haven't washed their hands yet! Ew!) will come up and tell me how pretty my hair is. Super cute! you and i share bits of the same soul. I love getting my hair done. I look forward to it for months. I only go to one stylist (also named Mary) and I follow her from salon to salon, wherever she goes, i go. I refuse to go anywhere else for fear of someone doing something horrible to it!

I'm in desperate need of a hair makeover, but since it explodes when it's even remotely short or near the shoulders, I need to grow it out FIRST. Sigh. One day it'll look decent. And one day I'll own a Chi straightener.
